Really enjoyed trying out the equipment and developing last week, cheers bob

with regards Printing with Greaham Lowe, maybe we could all contribute a bit of money into a pot to cover his time for a couple of hours? £10/20 each depending on the numbers

just a thought

The Black Path - Middlesbrough to Redcar

A selection of snapshots from a first walk along the 'black path' (or as close as possible to it's original route) from Middlesbrough to Redcar.
Another couple of walks are in order, I'm hoping to find some other people walking the path to add some portraits and to photograph the surrounding areas along side the path.

If anyone has any ideas or input, please give your opinion.

Finally here!

Blimey!

It's all a bit embarrassing and not Bob's fault that I'm posting so late in the day - seems one of my online identities had died (and I hadn't even realised it was sick)!

So, finally, 'Hello to all'.

I'm certainly willing to contribute to some chemical workshops with Graham. This has added urgency as a consequence of the fact that I've just been given a Sprocket Rocket by one who should know better than to pander to my whims!

Looking forward to whatever comes next!

Mark

next session

Hi everyone.

There's been a few technical issues with everyone accessing this blog. I think we're about there now so shall we try and sort the next session using some medium-format and large-format kit through to film development. I think it might be a good idea to do this in two sessions each with three people. I'm away for a couple of days from this weekend till Tuesday so if everyone could  let me know how free they are for the couple of weeks after that we'll try and arrange things. I still need to know thoughts on the printing with Graham Lowe and if we want to do it. (Please see previous post). Cheers!

Printing workshop

Hi everyone. I've talked to Graham Lowe and he was up for doing some printing workshops in his darkroom. Unfortunately I've so far drawn a blank with the funders to be able to pay for it as they have a very specific remit for what gets funded. I'm meeting with Graham tomorrow so I'll have a chat with him about how low he can keep the price. Can I ask how interested people are and if you would be willing to pay 'an amount' for the workshop if it went ahead?

Bob.

Magnum photo agency

Some of the photographers I showed in the first presentation were Magnum photographers (THE most highly regarded photo agency). Here's a link to the work of some of their photographers as a bit of inspiration:
